Mountain-ready design incorporates recycled, 2.5-layer Pertex Shield® fabric that's lightweight, soft and highly breathable for outstanding comfort when it matters in the mountains. The regular cut with pre-shaped sleeves is ideal and ensures plenty of freedom of movement.

Thanks to the AquaGuard® zippers under the arms, you can increase the ventilation in addition and at the same time with your pace. The helmet-compatible hood has a flexible polymer peak that adjusts for width in two places for optimal protection; it also has a fabric-friendly hook-and-loop closure to roll down and secure the hood when it gets stormy.

With a soft, fleece-lined chin guard and a left pocket that doubles as a convenient pack sack; you'll feel comfortably dry all day in this jacket, even when the weather turns.

Pertex® Shield provides lightweight and packable protection with complete breathability. So when every ounce and maximum breathability matter, as in intense mountain adventures, Pertex® Shield allows for quick movement and a comfortable feel. The versatile 2, 2.5 or 3-layer construction combines lightweight outer layers with waterproof, windproof and breathable membranes. The outer material is treated with a long-lasting DWR impregnation, providing reliable protection from rain and snow while maintaining breathability.
