Reverse Components Youngstar pedals are specially designed to fit the smaller shoe sizes of younger riders.
Most pedals available are too wide for children, so that
the Q-factor is often more than critical for children (Q-factor = distance of the feet to each other). The shortened pedal axle on the Youngstar allows a significantly lower Q-factor. This makes pedaling much easier for the little ones and leads to a much more circular rotation.
- Due to the adapted support surface for the shoes, the amount of times that the pedal will flip or spin out from under the child s foot is reduced. The pins are arranged in an 8x4 pattern and offer a good grip all around.
- The Youngstar pedal is only 44% (70x62mm) from the Escape adult pedal surface.
- With its weight of just 229g, this aluminum pedal pair with CrMo axle is tough and durable but also very light.
- To meet safety regulations the pedals come with reflectors as
standard, but they can be removed if wished.
- Suitable for shoe sizes up to 34 (US size 3)
