The focus has been on how the fit and feel of the gear on the bike, so crease areas have been reworked and lighter, even more durable materials have been used. - More durable stretch fabric in the thigh and seat areas provide additional abrasion resistance in the event of a fall
- Optimized mesh inserts along the calves improve range of motion and increase ventilation
- Increased resistance to chafing against the chain with sonic welded, heat resistant attachment placed on the right ankle area
- New side waist adjusters with hook-and-loop closure fitted into the waistband, allow for quick and unobtrusive fit adjustment
- Zippered flap construction keeps out rocks and debris
- Low-profile TLD snap with hook-and-loop closure provides tight closure without adding bulk
- 2 Strategically placed zippered pockets: 1 on the upper left leg, 1 on the lower right thigh area
- Tapered lower leg design keeps pants away from chain/seat stays
- Race-ready fit is designed to accommodate base layers and knee pads while providing maximum freedom of movement and sure-footedness
