In close cooperation with the TRP development team, improvements were made to almost every part of the brake and tested during the season. The TRP Slate T4 has ergonomic levers, a forged and CNC machined caliper and a 5.0mm thick hydraulic line.

Details of the TRP Slate T4 HD-M806 disc brake

Most of the optimizations of the DH-R EVO brake have also been integrated into the Slate T4 brake. The Slate T4 has the same ergonomic levers, a forged and CNC machined caliper and a 5.0 mm hydraulic line. Other benefits include a four-piston caliper, tool-free lever width adjustment and Top Loading caliper.

In addition to the ergonomic lever with external handle width adjustment, a brake master cylinder made of a special stainless steel composite material ensures precise and sensitive deceleration. For a clean as well as safe installation provides, in addition to a folding clamp on the brake lever, a 1900mm long and extremely robust brake line with banjo connections and a heat-resistant mineral oil.
