The hub body is the midpoint of Tune's wheels as well as of their "Edelstampfer". That's why an original MAG150 hub body with a carbon wrapping serves as tamper grip. The cover cap is even made out of carbon and is usually used together with the black anodized aluminium screws for the GumGum Ahead-Expander. The high quality flat ground plate made out of stainless steel gives the tamper the pleasant heaviness and ensures a good load distribution. The diameter of the ground plate is a little more than 58 mm what ensures that no coffee rests unpressed at the rim of the sieve and the water can flow with constant pressure through the coffee.
