To stability and strength is also very well ordered, because the hub body is made of "aviation" aluminum. This type of material has been used successfully for years in aviation and convinces with high strength.

The flange spacing is increased in the Boost hub compared to the hub with 142mm installation width, so significantly stiffer wheels can be built, which has a noticeable impact especially on 29ers. A point of criticism of the large wheels was always the lack of stiffness. Due to the larger installation width of the Boost standard can now be realized 29er wheels that are on a par with 26-inch wheels! The bearing support can be made wider and thus stiffer and more stable.

Version for 12x148mm Boost thru axle. The 28 hole disc hubs are suitable for all 6-hole brake discs. With SRAM XD/XDR freewheel (can be adapted by removing the spacer on the freewheel from XD to XDR).
