The RACE DEEPWINTER bib shorts are the result of a long development process. The development of new technologies takes time, especially when the goal is ambitious: maximum thermal capacity, protection from external agents, unparalleled comfort on long distances. The first step was to analyze the position of the cyclist on the bike. In the most exposed areas (shins, buttocks and quadriceps), a fabric was used that is bonded to the waterproof and highly elastic MEMBRAIN115 membrane and, on the inside, to the exclusive bodymapping BUFFERCONE structure that traps body heat and forms an insulating layer. In the abdominal, lumbar and back areas, the impregnation is achieved through a wash-resistant nanotechnology. Strategic inserts on the calf made of double-layer knit fabric optimize the fit and provide plenty of freedom of movement. The back is protected by a layer of highly insulating Buffercone fabric to keep the body warm even after many hours in the saddle.
