Details of the Vision Metron 81 SL wheelset

The wheels feature inner 19mm wide and 81mm deep carbon clincher rims. Thanks to included Tubeless Ready rim tapes and valves, rolling resistance and puncture susceptibility can be reduced with the appropriate tires. Furthermore, they feature straight-pull knife spokes, P.R.A. Disc hubs with 6 sealed cartridge bearings and centerlock brake disc mounts, ABS brass nipples, FD / wind tunnel proven aerodynamics and 100+ Pro podiums since their release. The wheelset uses "Low Drag Construction" for the lowest possible drag. All components are specifically designed to reduce drag and allow the rider maximum speed with minimum effort. A reduced distance between the hub flanges, aero spokes and the special rim profiles are the main points.

One of the reasons why wheels come out of centering is the loosening of spoke nipples. This wheelset has special self-locking nipples to prevent spokes from coming loose, ensuring concentricity and maximum reliability.
