The Metron TFW Carbon disc wheel for tubular tires achieves a level of aerodynamics and lightweight construction that has hardly been achieved before. For time trial or triathlon competitions it is the perfect complement for the Metron 55, 81, 90 or TC50 front wheel or the corresponding wheelsets. The extremely stiff full carbon rear wheel weighs only 950 g and is suitable for tubular tires.
The specially designed PRA (Preload Reduction Assembly) hub is equipped with six sealed, super smooth running industrial bearings made of chromoly steel. Through the interaction of the machined 24.3 mm wide carbon braking surface with the carbon brake pads included in the delivery, the Metron TFW Disc Wheel offers best braking performance under all conditions.
Included with the wheel is a durable quick release with an aluminium lever and stainless steel axle. Finish: 12K carbon disc, CNC machined, silver anodized hub, with durable Vision Design color graphics.
