The Hub Bearing Extractor Essential Kit is an indispensable tool for the professional bicycle workshop. The tool sets of the Essential series contain everything it takes to to get a specific job done correctly.

The EX0001 tool set can be used to remove sealed bearings with a small inner diameter of 8, 9, 10 and 12 mm. The included extractors attach to the inner ring of the bearing and allow it to be pulled out of the hub shell or frame component.

Use: After inserting the extractor into the bearing, one side is tightened with a matching wrench. In the process, the collet expands to grip the inside of the bearing. Finally, the extractor and the bearing must be tapped out together with a punch and hammer.

Scope of supply:

4 extractors:
608 (for 8 mm inner bearing diameter),
609 (for 9 mm inner bearing diameter),
6000 (for 10 mm inner bearing diameter),
6001 (for 12 mm inner bearing diameter)

1 replacement bolt set (M5)

Notes: All extractors are size specific. If the removal tool is smaller than the bearing, it is recommended to use a washer between the extractor and the bearing to achieve the tightest fit possible before tightening the bolt.
