The Wolftooth chainrings allow you to upgrade your 96 mm BCD XT crank to 1x10 or 1x11-speed. Beautifully machined to match up with the arms of your crankset.
Wolf Tooth's patent pending Drop-Stop wide/narrow tooth profile for the ultimate chain retention and mud shedding ability. Recommended is the use of a clutch style rear derailleur for the best chain security.
For Shimano XT 8000/8020 and MT700 cranks with 96mm BCD.
Chainline: 49 mm for 30-34T and 50 mm for 36T
Optimized for 10/11-spd chains, 9-spd may be to loose.
Note: Use only the stock Shimano XT M8000 chainring bolts. The Wolf Tooth chainring bolts are a different size.
If you plan to ride in very muddy conditions, we recommend a chainguide or chainkeeper in addition to a clutch-type rear derailleur! Without these precautions, you may experience chaindrops and/or chainsuck.
