The Wolf Tooth Elliptical Direct Mount Boost chainring with a nickel coating was specially designed to look good on the Cane Creek eeWings titanium crankset. But it also works great on all SRAM sets with 3-bolt Direct Mount.
The teeth of the chainring were optimized by the manufacturer so that they are perfectly adapted to the 12-speed Hyperglide chains from Shimano. The specially developed tooth profile ensures quiet as well as smooth performance of the HG + drive system and prevents premature leaf and chain wear.
The elliptical or oval shape of the chainring creates a smoother and smoother transmission of power to the rear wheel, resulting in less spinning under acceleration while making pedaling easier to maintain desired speed.
