It is made of a blend of merino wool and synthetic fibers, making it antibacterial and quick drying. The flat seams prevent chafing and make it easier to wear under a helmet. Since it has 1 opening, it can be modeled to completely cover the head except for the eyes. The lower part of the opening can be worn over the nose or over the chin, depending on weather conditions and personal preference.

Merino wool comes from merino sheep and is generally known for its high quality. Merino sheep have much more hair than other sheep.
