COOLMESH II - Double sneaker sock for sport and leisure
The COOLMESH II is the thinnest sock model in the WRIGHTSOCK collection. The "low tab" version is also known as the "sneaker sock". Special feature: A knitted tab follows the shoe line of the upper and protects the foot where sneaker socks from other manufacturers often slip under the shoe line. On the "nose" the sock can be easily grabbed and pulled over the foot. Sneaker socks are often viewed somewhat suspiciously by athletes, because models from other manufacturers like to slip into the shoe. With the COOLMESH II low tab, the typical WRIGHTSOCK non-bearing connecting seam between the two sock layers at ankle level prevents the sock from slipping into the shoe.
Features of the sock
- Double layer
- Anti-blister system
- Short, thin, unpadded
- Middle foot stabilizer
- Sneaker sock with rear elevation, does not slip into the shoe
- Shoe recommendation: running shoes, sports and leisure shoes, walking shoes, barefoot shoes
Additional informations about the sock
COOLMESH II is a thin sock with high breathability and low weight. A knitted stabilisation zone in the midfoot area ensures a secure hold, even during sideward movements. The back of the foot and the shin area of the sock are knitted in a mesh structure to optimally dissipate moisture. The inner layer is white, undyed and therefore foot-healthy. The Dri-Wright and high-tech fibres in the inner and outer layers ensure dry feet and protection against blister formation.
Anti-blister system
WRIGHTSOCK is constructed in two layers and friction does not penetrate the skin because it is neutralised between the inner and outer sock layers, while the special fibre of the inner layer ensures dry feet.
Dri-Wright
Dri-Wright is a polyester fibre developed by Wrightenberry Mills. Polyester has the advantage of drying faster and being more durable than almost any other fibre. By "channels" on the fiber surface Dri-Wright can dissipate foot moisture clearly better than conventional polyester fibers.
Note for customers whose street shoe size is at the WRIGHTSOCK "size limit"
In principle, WRIGHTSOCK recommends that customers whose shoe size is at the upper edge of the size scale change to the next higher size. After washing, the socks become about one street shoe size smaller and then fit ideally in these limiting cases. A person with a shoe size of 41-42 would therefore choose a sock with a size of L. The size of the sock would be the same for a person with a shoe size of 41-42. The double-layer WRIGHTSOCK sock should fit tightly in order to fully develop its effect. Socks that are too large can cause the foot to "slip".
