The isotonic Xenofit carbohydrate drink was developed especially for extended periods of high performance. Where exertion continues over several hours the body's own carbohydrate reserves (= glycogen reserves) for energy production in working muscles are insufficient. During exertion, Xenofit competition supplies a balanced mixture of blood sugar level stabilizing carbohydrates for maintenance of endurance performance. Short chain rapidly available sugars such as fructose, glucose and sucrose (mono- and disaccharides) are also included as well as main ingredient long chain maltodextrin (oligosaccharide). The optimised formulation of carbohydrates (approx. 78 g / litre) in association with sodium (700 mg / litre) means Xenofit competition ensures rapid absorption of fluid into the blood. Additionally, it contains the necessary spectrum of B vitamins for carbohydrate and energy metabolism as well as the minerals magnesium and potassium and vitamin C.

Usage:
For extended periods of high performance. For an isotonic mix mix sachet contents or 42 g (= about 3 scoops) of beverage powder into a bottle with 500 ml water and shake well until the powder has completely dissolved beverage.
