With a battery life of up to 800 hours and an accuracy of +/-1 %, the Precision 3+ powermeter represents a high-quality and reliable training tool for many years to come.
The robust and lightweight design of the powermeter has been taken over from its predecessor. During the ride, the Precision 3+ transmits as usual watts, cadence and calories to the main unit.
The + refers to the Apple Find My technology built into the power meter. If the power meter is not in use, the Find My feature is enabled. When the powermeter is added to the Find My app, it can be located via an iPhone, iPad, Mac or with the Find Items app on an Apple Watch.
Ride Ready. The delivery of the 4iiii powermeter sensor is already pre-mounted on the selected Shimano crank arm for Hollowtech II bottom brackets. After installation at the bike* and connecting to the control unit or computer, you can immediately start recording power.
3D power measurement | If force is applied to the pedals and correspondingly to the crank, there is not only a bending of the crank arms in one dimension – twisting and deformation processes take place in all 3 directions. 4iiii's patented 3D force measurement system measures this multi-dimensional loading, so no matter what the riding conditions or each rider's unique pedal stroke, performance data is always accurately determined.
Gold standard in precision | The accuracy of 4iiii powermeters has been tested and validated by leading scientists at the Locomotion Lab at the University of Colorado. With +/- 1 % precision, training, pacing and racing can be reliably planned with the assurance of consistent data.
Dual-channel ANT+ & Bluetooth Smart | In order for riders to read and record their performance data from a wide catalog of devices, sports watches, smartphones and computers, 4iiii powermeters are capable of transmitting their measurement results using both the widely used ANT+ technology and the Bluetooth Smart wireless standard. Accordingly, 4iiii powermeters are also compatible with all popular indoor training applications, such as Zwift, TrainerRoad, TheSufferFest, Rouvy, etc.
Warranty & durability | 4iiii powermeter technology has been proven in the toughest tests around the globe – whether it's sinking in the mud of Cross Country mountain bike races, on the rainy gravel roads of Strade Bianche, or even in the salty ocean spray of the America's Cup.
