AKU Bellamont III NBK GTX Shoes - Grey

The shoe is made in Europe in AKU's own factories. 100% of the components of the product are traceable. This new version of the Bellamont III is characterized by the use of materials suitable for reducing environmental impact: The inner lining is made of Gore-Tex laminate with 99% recycled yarns; The Vibram® N-OIL outsole compound is made of over 90% petroleum-free ingredients and dyes derived from natural pigments. The new R-EVA midsole, made in Italy, contains 20% recycled material.

GORE-TEX® Performace Comfort

The GORE-TEX® membrane is an exclusive technical fabric processed heat sealed and contains about 1.4 billion microscopic pores per square centimeter. These pores are about 20,000 times smaller than a drop of water, but 700 times larger than a water vapor molecule. So while water droplets cannot penetrate the GORE-TEX® membrane, water vapor, i.e. sweat in gaseous form, escapes easily.
