Rocket DFS GTX adopts the innovative Vibram Traction Lug technology that improves traction and grip by 25% thanks to the special design. The upper has a crossed rib structure and is protected by a 3D print layer. The exclusive AKU Dual Fit System (DFS) technology, here realized in the version for speed hiking, allows you to vary the degree of precision of the fit by simply acting on the two different lacing systems. It is built with AKU Elica Natural Stride System technology to promote biodynamic efficiency.

GORE-TEX® Performace Comfort

The GORE-TEX® membrane is an exclusive technical fabric that is heat-sealed processed and contains about 1.4 billion microscopic pores per square centimeter. These pores are about 20,000 times smaller than a drop of water, but 700 times larger than a water vapor molecule. So while water droplets cannot penetrate the GORE-TEX® membrane, water vapor, i.e. sweat in gaseous form, escapes easily.

VIBRAM - Traction Lug

Vibram Traction Lug Is a new design that focuses on the key element of traction. Vibram® has developed a tread pattern with micro lugs that increases the ground contact area by 50%. Vibram® thus provides up to 25% better traction and improved stability while running. AKU has decided to use this technology in shoes that require high performance and better grip, especially when pushing.

VIBRAM - Megagrip

A special compound developed by Vibram ® to provide excellent grip on dry and wet surfaces, Megagrip provides an excellent balance between stability and flexibility on all types of terrain. AKU uses the Megagrip compound on some of its more technical models.
