BEHIND THE PRODUCT
The redesigned UMA GTV Spring Fall Vest combines increased enhanced protection in the front with increased breathability in the back, making it more versatile than all previous UMA vests. It features two new technologies: a windproof and waterproof thermal membrane from the new AIRBLOCK line on the chest, shoulders and sides, and a back panel made of the new, extremely breathable VENTAMESH textile. The panel in the abdominal area and the collar provide good thermal regulation with the lightweight RX EVO Light textile.

The combination of protection on the front and high breathability and heat dissipation on the back ensures an ideal, individual microclimate in cool, changeable weather. The revised fit means the vest wears well over summer-light jerseys or the GT Spring Fall Jersey C2, providing versatile protection for any layering system.

WHEN/HOW TO USE IT
Combine the vest any way you like with any gear on any ride in inconsistent weather. Wear it over your summer gear on long descents or in sudden storms, or over the GT Spring Fall Jersey C2 on damp, cool spring and fall days.

FEATURED FABRICS
AIRBLOCK.888 is the mid-weight version from the new, in-house developed Airblock family of technical membranes. It insulates, keeps wind and water out and protects the individual microclimate from changeable weather conditions. RX EVO Light provides lightweight insulation paired with stretch and breathability at the waist and collar. At the back, a panel of new Ventamesh textile provides more bi-directional stretch, optimizing fit while improving ventilation to prevent overheating in moderate temperatures. Airblock softshells are patented and developed in the textile laboratory in Lugano.

CONSTRUCTION/FIT
A streamlined regular fit with high-stretch fabrics eliminates the need for elastic in the waistband and hems at the armholes. Fewer restrictions in the chest and shoulder area provide more comfort on long runs while offering more
space for layering.

ENGINEERING

• Louvre Tec: Darting at the collarbones eliminates excess material to avoid creasing or wrinkling in the chest area when in the riding position.
• zeroPressure Waist: A waistband made of soft, highly elastic material that improves comfort and support in the abdominal area without pinching or squeezing.
• Raw Cut Cuff: Hemless armholes reduce bulk and friction when layering. This also allows the vest to be stowed to save space.
• Reflective elastic: Increases visibility of the back hem in low light and overcast conditions when extra protection is especially important.
