BEHIND THE PRODUCT

The all-new GTV Winter Bib Tight C2 replaces the UMA GT ULTRAZ Bib Tight as the ultimate solution for winter conditions. The biggest change is the integration of impact protection pads on the hips, placed under panels of abrasion-resistant DyneRope. Both the material and the impact protection technology were taken from the TRAIL gear for off-road to prevent injuries on slippery winter roads. Assos has also used the warmest DWR-treated RX as the main textile and supplemented it with storm-resistant softshell protection in the mid-body area.

To keep out splashing water, Waterbarrier panels surround the lower legs. Other details enhance comfort and practicality: the new UMA C2 Ultra Distance insert provides the most comfortable vibration damping in the UMA and DYORA lines, and the innovative bisiClick system allows easy, intuitive release of the straps.

FINER DETAILS - FEATURED FABRICS

The main fabric is the 350 gsm RX EVO Extreme, a brand new thermal fabric in jersey layering. It is our warmest roughened four-way stretch fabric, which ensures full freedom of movement in the saddle. It also provides a dry microclimate thanks to breathability and a DWR finish. The center core panel is protected by our perforated Sphere Ultra Hole 2L softshell. Both windproof and waterproof, it's also the lightest and most breathable model in our patented Sphere family, developed in our textile lab in Lugano.

Our sleek regularFit offers supreme comfort on longer rides, and the rollBar support system provides stability while pedaling and cornering. Each leg panel features our Louvre Tec construction that hugs your legs perfectly for custom compression.

ENGINEERING

• bisi Click: Two magnetic closures secure the straps in place. They close and release intuitively, but hold securely enough so they don't open unintentionally.
• ImpactorTec T3: Updated for the GTV Winter System, combines flexible viscoelastic foam (7 mm) with a larger, more protective shape and craterCooler technology for cooling airflow.
• Water Barrier: A thinner, more comfortable neoprene-like material wraps the lower legs to repel water and provide a seal when combined with booties.
• X-Frame: Adopted from the DYORA RS line, A-shaped straps stabilize the pants at the lower back and secure the seat insert and main panel during high-intensity rides.
• Rear Terminal: The rear part of the insert is directly connected to the seam of the main panel. This reduces bulk and friction while improving moisture management.
