Coated CeramicSpeed PressFit30 bottom bracket for frames with 46mm inner diameter and 68mm shell width, as well as Campagnolo Ultra Torque 25 mm axles.
The spindle, not the bottom bracket, is where bearing sit on Ultra-Torque, pressed against the arms. A removal/installation tool is necessary. Spacers are included in case the bb shell is too narrow.
The
CeramicSpeed Coated Bearings reduce drag by 50% compared to CeramicSpeed Standard Bearings and an improvement in bearing life of 60%. Every single bearing is hand built in Denmark under clean room conditions. All parts are selected by hand for perfect fit, each bearing is spined by hand multiple times during the building process to ensure that all parts are matched perfectly.
The bearings are built by installing ceramic balls in hardened-steel races. It means a 75% reduction in drag versus conventional bottom brackets. The CeramicSpeed Balls are 400% smoother and 128% harder than steel. CeramicSpeed Standard Bearings have frictional drag 0.3-0.4w per set with standard grease. They also last at least 3x longer.
