Climbing Technology Click Up Belay Device - violet

The CLICK UP is a belay device with braking action, designed specifically for climbing in the climbing garden and can be used with all single ropes of diameter Ø 8.6 ÷ 10.5 mm. Compact and lightweight, it allows the belaying of a lead climber or a tail climber.

Features of the Climbing Technology Click Up belay device

• Allows a quick and smooth release of the rope
• Allows the belayer to break a fall by holding the free end of the rope with the hand
• The climber can be abseiled with light pressure on the device, holding the free end of the rope under tension with the other hand
• optimized and suitable for single ropes Ø 8,6 ÷ 10,5 mm
• if the rope is not correctly installed in the device (the rope sides are reversed), thanks to the special tapered (V-shaped) friction notches, effective belaying with safe braking and easy lowering of the climber is still ensured

The CLICK UP is supplied together with the specific HMS carabiner CONCEPT SGL HC and must be used in conjunction with it. This carabiner has a wear-resistant anodization and an ACL system that prevents the possibility of cross-loading in the small axes.
