The Columbus Futura Disc SLX is named after the famous Columbus tube set, with which hundreds of professional teams in the 1980s in yellow, pink and rainbow-colored jerseys went to the start. Within the Futura fork series, "SLX" refers specifically to models for oversized steerer tubes. In addition, the SLX Disc offers increased tire clearance and the ability to mount a lightweight mudguard for commuters.
