The Aristos GTS is the sportier version of the new GT - S here stands for Speedgravel. Like its RS and R Speedgravel brothers, the GTS is optimized for speed with a more compact geometry and straight saddle stays. Thus, the focus of the GTS is more on road and rather light gravel, also because tires can only be installed in a width of 25 to a maximum of 35 millimeters.
There are also various touring options on the GTS - but compared to the GT, there are no threaded eyelets for luggage on the top tube and fork, and mounting fixed mudguards is not possible. However, a luggage carrier can be mounted - the sporty, reduced "Gravel Light" carrier is recommended here. In addition, there are outlets on the seat tube and chainstay for the cables of an electric gearshift.
The geometry of the GTS is based on the Aristos RS Speedgravel, yet perfectly combines classic elements with integration here. The rear triangle and fork are designed for 28-inch wheels, for tire widths up to 35 millimeters, a fixed mudguard mounting is not provided. The tubes of the frame are rounder than the RS Speedgravel, which not only provides a more "classic" look, but also allows the lower price, because here the installed double- or triple-butted tubes are cheaper than tube sets with multiple deformation, as it is used, for example, the Aristos RS Speedgravel.
Like the GT, the GTS comes with a carbon fork, for price but also for weight reasons. A special feature of the new fork is the complete cable integration and the adaptation of the fork crown to the dimensions of the head tube. Thus, the front looks like a harmonious unit coordinated with each other.
The cockpit of the GTS offers particularly ample space to accommodate a handlebar bag if necessary for a longer touring trip, a crossing of the Alps or a spontaneous overnighter, without disturbing cables and cables. Unlike the Aristos R, the head tube is kept straight here to facilitate the integration of the cables, but also to reduce costs. The bike can be built either with a classic Syntace handlebar - without flare. Gladly but also with a carbon handlebar. If desired, the 3D stem of the R series can also be installed, then all cables disappear completely.
The Aristos GTS is a true "all-you-can-do" frame. It leaves nothing to be desired. The same applies to the control of the circuit - this can be done either electrically or mechanically, depending on individual preference and personal philosophy.
As with the GT, the bottom bracket of the GTS is not designed in the "Pressfit" standard, but as a "T47" with thread, at the request of customers who prefer to assemble their dream bike themselves. This also allows 30 mm aluminum shafts to be installed, which makes the frame-fork set even more attractive for anyone who wants to build their dream bike with different components. In addition, the bottom bracket has the "service flap" known from the R on the underside, with which the cables are more accessible.
Comfort must not be neglected, even in a sporty and at the same time touring-oriented bike, in order to allow the rider to enjoy a fatigue-free ride for as long as possible. Good vibration damping is equally indispensable on poor asphalt roads, light gravel tracks or for all-road use.
