Details of the Fjällräven Skogsö Padded Jacket

Hip-length, lightly lined winter jacket in G-1000® with attached adjustable hood. The perfect outdoor garment for the cold months of the year. It is wind-resistant and easily keeps out short rain showers, while allowing moisture formed on the body to escape. The synthetic fiber filling G-Loft Supreme provides cozy warmth even in cold and damp conditions. In addition, the jacket offers good freedom of movement with and without a backpack on the back.

The sleeves are pre-shaped, and the cuffs can be adjusted with snaps. The two-way front zipper is behind a wind flap, which is fixed at the chin, at chest level and at the hem by press studs. Multiple handy pockets: two vertical pockets at chest height and two at the sides - all of which have zippers with oversized zipper handles that are easy to grip even when wearing gloves. Two roomy interior mesh pockets with space for gloves or a hat round out the functionality. Drawcord to adjust the hem width.

G-Loft® Supreme - Lightweight and insulating, even when wet

G-Loft Supreme is Fjällräven's new synthetic fleece with extremely good insulating properties, even when wet.
Just like high-quality down, the unique blend of hollow and ultra-thin polyester fibers - one-tenth of which are made of recycled polyester - has the natural ability to form "clusters". This creates many small air pockets that protect the body from the cold. The molecular structure of the fibers exhibits a "memory effect". After being compressed, they automatically return to their original puffy spiral shape. This ability to regenerate is retained even after repeated washing and constant wear. It is the blend of recycled polyester, which is slightly firmer than natural fibers, that gives this material its unique elasticity. G-Loft Supreme is also quick drying, durable, highly compressible and easy to care for.
Fjällräven uses G-Loft Supreme in products that need to provide excellent insulation and be extremely waterproof, as well as being lightweight and easy to stow in a backpack or similar - for example, when hiking or paddling.
