Details of the Fjällräven Sten Fleece Jacket

Lightweight, comfortable fleece jacket made of recycled polyester in a slightly mottled look. Can be worn under the outer jacket or on its own. The fleece material is made in an environmentally friendly process where the threads are spun and dyed at the same time. As a result, this model uses approximately 50 percent less water and 32 percent less energy than a conventionally produced fleece jacket.

Reinforcement of robust G-1000 in the shoulder area reduces friction under the shoulder straps of the backpack. High collar that protects against cutting wind, with protective flap of fleece between zipper and chin. Two spacious side pockets with zipper. All zipper slider handles in natural colored leather.

G-1000 is Fjällräven's self-developed durable and adaptable fabric that will have you ready for any adventure in any season. The dense fabric is wind and water resistant and very durable, yet extremely breathable and quick drying. This makes it an ideal clothing material for outdoor use as well as for long-distance travel and exploration to all corners of the earth. G-1000 is made from a blend of polyester and cotton waxed with a thin layer of Greenland Wax. The wax gives the material extra protection against dirt, wind and moisture and can easily be applied thicker or washed out as needed.

Aside from wind and weather, G-1000 also protects against harmful sun rays and annoying insect bites. It is therefore ideal if you want to discover the beauty of nature without restrictions.
