One of Fjällräven's classics - here in a fall/winter version made from high-quality, ethically sourced down that provides warmth in cold temperatures. The design is based on the original Greenland Jacket from 1968, but this design is complemented by leather details on the hood and sleeves. In addition, the recycled polyester lining is even more sustainable than its predecessor. Thanks to the G-1000 Eco exterior, it proves to be a reliable companion in the great outdoors.

Down - Forty years of experience with quality down

Fjällräven has been using down as an insulating material for over 40 years. Only down that meets the highest quality standards is used. This ensures that Fjällräven down jackets and sleeping bags offer unbeatable insulation in relation to their weight. You'll also notice how well the down products compress for the smallest possible pack size.

Origin of down

The high-quality down used in Fjällräven clothing and equipment comes from the food industry and is tested according to US standards. Fjällräven has only one down supplier with whom they have a close, active dialogue throughout the entire extraction process. The supplier has signed Fjällräven's Code of Conduct, which among other things regulates animal welfare. It has also signed an agreement prohibiting the live plucking of birds. The down process is constantly monitored through pre-organized as well as unannounced visits by Fjällräven's quality assurance team.
