With the Speed 360 DB, Fulcrum continues to develop the concept of the disc wheel by combining current wheel building standards such as disc brake and Tubeless compatibility with an exclusive construction technology. Tested with the help of professional road cycling teams Cofidis and Intermarché-Wanty-Gobert, the rear wheel, suitable for triathlon and time trials, is also available to the most demanding amateurs.

The carbon wheel uses the same special carbon fibers that can be found in the aerospace industry and in Formula 1 components. The properties of this material, combined with the appropriate manufacturing process, allow the construction of a disc wheel that is not only aerodynamic, lightweight and responsive, but also transfers every single watt of power generated by the rider directly to the road.

While the patented 2-Way Fit concept ensures the aforementioned Tubeless compatibility, the aluminium hub features a Centerlock brake disc mount and the renowned CULT™ ceramic bearings specially adapted to the Speed 360. Thanks to the use of a special steel for the bearing races, these not only offer unparalleled smoothness, but also contribute to weight reduction.

CULT™ (Ceramic Ultimate Level Technology) | The concept is based on an exclusive Cronitect® steel used for the bearing race surfaces, which requires no grease for lubrication but only a small layer of oil. Combined with extremely precise processing, the high-quality ceramic balls enable a drastic reduction in the coefficient of friction. The result is a nine-fold increase in smoothness compared to impellers equipped with conventional bearings.
