GeoPress cartridges were redesigned in April 2023 with a new "core" and "flow channels" to accommodate a one-way valve for use with electrolytes, beverage mixes and other flavored liquids.
The replacement cartridges for the GeoPress bottles are designed to last 350 cycles (250 L). The service life is reduced if water with a high content of silt, sediments or tannins is purified. Cartridge pressure time increases toward the end of cartridge life. When the pressure time reaches 25 to 30 seconds, the cartridge should be replaced. The cartridge will continue to protect as the print time increases.
