The Hanwag Makra Pro Lady GTX mountaineering shoe is suitable for demanding mountain tours with glacier passages as well as for easier high and rock tours in summer. The lightweight and stable all-rounder is equipped with waterproof GORE-TEX membrane and durable Perwanger upper leather. A combination of PU, TPU and EVA is used for the lightweight, yet particularly stable midsole. PU in the heel - with integrated bar support made of TPU - provides perfect cushioning, EVA in the forefoot area for precision in the approach. "Hanwag 2 Zone Lock" with a mechanical clamp provides improved heel hold. Unlike a conventional clamp hook, the mechanical clamp blocks reliably and can no longer slip after fixing - without manual intervention. A feature of the Makra family is the optimized Ghilly lacing up to the toe area - here the laces are pulled through textile loops. The foot thus has a good hold even in the front area and in a half-high model and you stand stably in the shoe.
