Arcus is the name of a cloud formation - and that's exactly how this shoe feels with its low weight and pronounced cushioning. The Arcus focuses on comfort and provides a pronounced cushioning and a lightweight EVA midsole for a pleasant running experience; especially on long distances. To increase comfort, the Arcus is equipped with a rocker midsole. This design additionally supports the forward rollover and thus reduces pressure on the heel. The dual-density sole is firmer in the forefoot and thus provides more dynamics in the impression phase

Outsole: Equipped with 13 dynamic carbide spikes, the outsole provides grip on different surfaces - from wet asphalt, mud and snow to pure ice. The tip of the spikes is made of high-quality tungsten carbide, a material 25 times harder than steel.

Technology - BUGrip®

BUGrip® - This is the name of the ICEBUG traction technology for extra slippery conditions. The sole is equipped with a special rubber compound along with 13-19 steel spikes,
which react dynamically to different surface hardness and body weight. When the sole comes into contact with a hard surface, the studs move into the interior of the
rubber - on dry asphalt they largely sink in, offering an almost unchanged running feel and only a soft clack indicates that the anti-slip is in play.
When the outsole hits a slushy or icy surface, the lugs exert dynamic pressure on the ground. This causes the cleats to adhere to the surface and
and provide the foot with a secure and non-slip grip. As a result, BUGrip® soles work on a wide variety of surfaces - from wet asphalt to pure ice. There is little to no wear and tear: The tip of the spikes is made of tungsten carbide, a material 25 times harder than steel and nearly as robust as diamond.
