The Lupine SL Mini Max AF has high beam, low beam, daytime running light and a Bluetooth remote control and is approved for road use. The brightness sensor detects when it gets dark and automatically switches from daytime running light to low beam.
Despite the visual similarity, the SL MiniMax AF is not the little sister of the SL AX. On the contrary, it actually does some things even better. The much smaller and lighter lamp housing nestles beautifully against any handlebar and especially the uniform light pattern make this lamp a real all-purpose weapon.
The sensor technology scans your ambient light in real time and switches your SL MiniMax at dusk in time from daytime running light to low beam. From this point on you can manually switch between low and high beam with the remote control.
With the Bluetooth remote control you always have the power of the SL MiniMax under control. At the touch of a button, you can quickly and easily switch between low and high beam, or turn your lights off completely. The headlight symbol lights up green or blue and shows you which mode is active.
The technical challenge with the SL MiniMax AF was to combine completely independent reflectors for the high beam and low beam in one system. This radical separation is the only way to create an impressive light pattern. In terms of homogeneity, too, the SL MiniMax AF sets the new benchmark for StVZO-approved lamps.
It can always happen that your bike with lamp stands in the rain or gets a blow in a fall.
Therefore, the SL MiniMax is of course waterproof and impact resistant to IP67.
The CNC machined aluminum housing provides the best conditions for a lamp with Lupine quality. Robust and armed for all external influences, ideal heat dissipation and without glued individual parts. Thus, Lupine guarantees repairability in case of emergency and the most sustainable use of resources.
The SmartCore battery is attached to the top or down tube with the help of a coated Velcro strap. By pressing the button you simply read
the remaining capacity from the display. The batteries are waterproof and protected by their robust outer shell against external forces.
