The Maxxis Forekaster was originally designed as a bad weather tire for Cross Country, while the revised version has been specifically optimized for use in the Shorttravel-Trailbike- or Down Country-segment. The new variant is significantly faster than its predecessor and offers solid cornering and braking traction, whatever the trail conditions.
It connects and closes the gap between fast rolling XC tires and rough Downhill profiles. Maxxis envisions the new Forekaster as the perfect companion for long rides in a variety of terrains. If the Rekon is not enough, but a Minion too much, take the Forekaster!
