Light and fast
The High Road combines all of Maxxis' top road technologies in one tire. The result: low weight, excellent puncture protection, very low rolling resistance, maximum grip. The HYPR compound opens up completely new possibilities in the wet and keeps securely on track. All these advantages make the HighRoad a real competition tire for the highest demands.

- HYPR Compound - HYPR is a full silica compound and Maxxis highest performance compound for road tires. Compared to our previous best road racing compound, HYPR has about 20% less rolling resistance and 20% more grip in wet conditions. An impressive achievement here is that these improvements have been achieved without sacrificing very long life.
- ONE70 - ONE70 describes an extremely fine carcass weave with 170 threads per inch. This carcass is found in our high-quality road bike tires and offers at high air pressures at the same time the highest performance but also ride comfort to prevent fatigue.
- ZK Protection - Maxxis lightest and most flexible puncture protection. Thus, the HighRoad road bike tires achieve best values and test victories in puncture protection in a comparison of the top road bike tires.
- Tubeless Ready - Tubeless tires on the bike have many advantages. You can drive with less air pressure and thus has better traction, the rolling resistance is lower than with tube, and with a sealant instead of a tube, the risk of punctures decreases very much, because small holes are simply sealed.
Note: Tubeless Ready tires require tubeless compatible rims/wheels, tubeless valves, tubeless rim tape and sealing fluid for tubeless mounting. Sealant fluid is not required for tubeless UST tires, but is recommended for increased puncture protection. Installation should only be carried out by qualified personnel.
