The MSR Front Range 4 outer tent is so compact and lightweight that it hardly weighs anything. It pitches and tears down quickly and provides enough shelter for up to four people on alpine hikes and ski trips in all seasons. This highly versatile and exceptionally simple shelter is extremely lightweight and extra durable thanks to Xtreme Shield™ coating. Whether you want to enjoy the longer days outdoors in spring or need a base camp in winter, the ultra-light Front Range 4 ensures unadulterated fun. The inner tent with floor, sold separately, provides extra protection from moisture and insects.

Features of the MSR Front Range 4 outer tent

• Light as a feather: extremely efficient tarp tent for four people, thanks to the low weight also suitable for two people. With practical gable height of 1.62 m.
• Fast pitching: Frameless construction without floor, can be pitched with ski or trekking poles or (sold separately) 152 cm poles. Ski loops make it easy to set up.
• Easy access: zippered door rolls back on both sides to clear view of outside and make entry easy.
• Versatile: Light enough to fit in any luggage and serve as a shelter, dining room or emergency shelter. Can be used with optional inner tent with floor sold separately for protection from moisture and insects.
• Durable: The steep canopy lets snow and rain slide off. It is waterproof and particularly robust thanks to Xtreme coating.
