Orca Openwater Zeal Thermal Wetsuit - black NN6T

The Zeal Thermal is the most insulated wetsuit in the Orca range. It uses technologies for maximum heat retention such as the Thermal X2 lining and the "Batwing", a second layer of neoprene that prevents water from entering through the zipper and at the collar. In addition, extra thick panels provide high buoyancy without sacrificing flexibility. This is thanks to Yamamoto 40+, which provides maximum stretch, allowing full freedom of movement even in cold water.

Features of the Orca Openwater Zeal Thermal Wetsuit

• Superior thermal insulation: the Zeal Thermal is the warmest wetsuit in Orca's range, thanks to panels up to 5mm thick, Thermal-X2 lining and its Batwing hood. The suit closes extra cleanly at the neck and extremities, which together with the sealed zipper, including Batwing, prevents cold water from entering and provides even better protection against the cold.

• Maximum elasticity: the use of various technologies for maximum stretch, such as Yamamoto 40X+, allows, despite the thickness of the wetsuit, great freedom of movement in cold water. In addition, the high elasticity of the Thermal-X2 linings ensures that the 5mm neoprene panels have the same properties as thinner conventional pieces.

• High neutral buoyancy: The thick panels on the hull give high buoyancy and increase safety in open water. Due to the construction method, the buoyancy profile of the suit is balanced.

• Comfort: The excellent fit at the extremities and the pleasant feel of the Thermal X and Thermal X2 inner material, make this wetsuit one of the most comfortable in the Orca range.

Cleaning

Too much salt is not good for your wetsuit. It can also be damaged by disinfectants, such as chlorine, should you use it in the pool. Therefore, it is recommended to rinse the wetsuit with plenty of (fresh) water after use. You can also use a small amount of pH neutral soap and rinse it well afterwards.

To prevent moisture from remaining after cleaning, it is best to dry the suit in a well-ventilated room or outdoors. Do not expose it to direct sunlight, as this can damage the material.

Storage

By storing your wetsuit properly, you prevent the material and seams from buckling and warping. This will prevent wrinkles that will affect the durability and appearance of your wetsuit.

The best way to store a wetsuit is to hang it over the center of a bar or hanger so that sensitive areas, such as shoulders and arms, are not exposed to tension.

For suits with a very stretchy shoulder area (Apex Flex or Apex Flow) you should not use hangers, as this can reduce the elasticity in the long run. For all other models you can use a wide hanger as long as it does not put too much tension on the shoulders and collar.

Please follow the manufacturer's instructions for use:

• If your wetsuit has a Velcro closure, avoid it coming into contact with the lining, as this can affect the delicate fabric. Cover the closure with the strip of fabric provided or make sure it is closed so that the barbs of the Velcro surface do not damage the inside of your suit.

• For all suits, but especially those with exposed neoprene surfaces, be careful during donning and doffing not to damage the neoprene with your fingernails. Damage of this kind is not covered by our warranty.

• Triathlon and open water wetsuits are designed specifically for swimming. We cannot guarantee the proper function of your wetsuit for other activities. Damage to the wetsuit caused by activities other than swimming is not covered by our warranty.

• Avoid contact of your wetsuit with solid surfaces, especially rough ones, and do not lean on anything while wearing it.
