Praxis Works 2x chainrings with LevaTime 2 are incomparable.
This technology has been developed over the years, through intensive testing and constant optimization, always further and now represents a class of its own when it comes to shifting precision and especially shifting speed. The complex arrangement of climbing aids, cutouts, ramps and tooth shapes is precisely calculated from the small to the large chainring and is in no way a coincidence. Thus, the chain changes position absolutely controlled and efficient. LevaTime raises the switching behavior to a new level - try it out and you will see how different Praxis Works chainrings are.
Many small things bring in the end in the sum of the decisive, big advantage. Thus, the cold forging process contributes a significant part to why Praxis Works chainrings are so exceptionally good. Through the specially developed for chainrings themselves OneShot- pressing and compression process with over 1000 tons of pressure, Praxis Works chainrings have significantly more and significantly more complex climbing aids, shifting aids and tooth profiles than just conventionally CNC-manufactured blades. In addition, the forging process provides a harder and more wear-resistant surface. Forging the chainrings is a technically highly demanding and expensive, additional manufacturing step, which is associated with very high costs. However, it is through this manufacturing process that the decisive advantage of the Praxis Works chainrings arises, because the process simply allows for a much more advanced shift bar design.
LevaTime™ is the product of years of intensive testing and fine-tuning. The end result is the best, fastest shifting the circuit gives. With a LevaTime™ chainring, multiple shift aids are strategically placed to provide perfectly timed upshifts and downshifts.
Synchronized shifting lanes are matched with the inner chainring and provides a clean channel for the chain. Each tooth is individually shaped to accomplish a specific task. Together with precisely located rivets, the chains are optimally controlled and Chainsucks are effectively prevented.
Updating to a new stiffer LT2 5mm ring allowed Praxis Works engineers to increase the number and type of shifting functions that could now be forged into the ring. In addition, it is now feasible to use the new, quick-engaging forged shift pins to increase shifting speed. Holding it all together are the reinforced forged LT2 X-Spiders. All of this adds up to the fastest, most biting shifter Praxis Works has ever produced.
After the first ride of these blades, you will realize that these are not your average, normal chainrings. All of the Praxis Works blade combinations are "matched sets"!
The increased bolt circle diameter minimizes torsion within the chainring and again improves shifting precision and drive effectiveness.
Previous PraxisWorks users can also enjoy the new LT II upgrade kit. So anyone who has an older 3-Bolt Direct Mount Praxis road bike crank can upgrade immediately. Even if your 3-Bolt DM Praxis crank is already a few years old, you can simply update your crank to the LevaTime II circuit with this new complete kit.
