High-tech wheelset made of graphene

The A-Prime is an aerodynamic carbon wheelset for the high demands of racing and triathlon. The latest generation of Progress wheels is characterized by a special material, graphene. Graphene is an extremely strong and at the same time lightweight material that allows completely new ways in wheel construction.

Thanks to the Air+Plus technology, the 28mm wide rim has a U-shaped profile, this shape allows wider tires without compromising the air resistance. We rounded off this HighEnd wheel by the CNC colored hubs with fast rotating ceramic ball bearings.

Progress Technologies

PAL-TECH - High precision aligned bearing seats with parallel bore technology, manufactured by a high-tech CNC 5-axis machine. 100% parallel to the axle. Less friction, more speed and longer bearing life.

Perfect Spoke Geometry - Each Progress wheel is optimized precisely for its intended use. On each specially designed rim, the manufacturer strengthens the spoke holes. The spoke hole and the nipple seat are perfectly matched to the hub and spoke angle. This ensures high spoke tension and even tension distribution.

AIR+PLUS High Speed Technology - With Air + Plus wheels crosswind is no longer a problem thanks to the U-shaped design. This allows the use of wider tires without negative impact on wind resistance, i.e. more tire volume, lower rolling resistance and better handling. Compared to normal V-shape wheels, the drag and crosswind coefficient could be reduced by more than 30%.
