Features of the Q36.5 Rain Pants
- Designed to provide premium protection from rainy weather, the Q36.5 Rain Pants are pre-shaped to fit the cyclist's position. Particular attention has been paid to the knee area, which must have freedom of movement when pedaling. The cut avoids constriction without excess fabric flapping in the wind.
- The rain pants are made of a patented 3-layer material and offer first-class rain protection and breathability.
The UF 75ShellTM fabric for the outer layer is made of a compact, tightly woven polyamide that can withstand constant exposure to rain and splashing water. The second layer is made of an avant-garde hydrophobic polyamide membrane with very high breathability (RET 4) and waterproofing of 15,000 mm/l.
- The rear waistband is made of an elastic silicone material that provides support and keeps the pants in place while cycling. The front part of the waistband is made of a softer material and slightly elastic to avoid pressure on the abdomen when on the bike.
- All seams are sealed to prevent water from entering.
- Side zippers on the cuffs make it easy to put on and take off the pants and ensure that they stay snug and waterproof during the ride. The ankle area features an improved elastic material that provides excellent water repellency and is also reflective for high visibility.
- Weighing just 166g, the rain pants pack easily and can either be taken off while riding when the weather improves or taken on longer rides that could get wet later.
- The Q36.5 Rain Pants can be worn over dungarees or tights. It can be perfectly combined with the WP overshoes and the R.Shell jacket.
- Since the pants are designed to be worn over bib shorts or tights, there is no insert, but the saddle area features a rip-stop material that prevents abrasion from friction while providing anti-slip protection to keep you from constantly sliding on the saddle in extremely wet conditions.
- To extend the protection in the saddle area, a pressure application has been placed on both sides, which serves as an additional aid against abrasion.
