The R2 short sleeve jersey takes the raglan cut to the next level and has been reworked to ensure that the fit is not only comfortable but also aerodynamically efficient.

To avoid the uncomfortable wrinkling at the neck, a special selection of materials has been used with strategically placed inserts and seams to ensure the ultimate performance.

The raglan cut was introduced by the PDM team in 1986 and was more for logo visibility than aerodynamics. The R2 short sleeve jersey modernizes this traditional cut to improve comfort and overall performance. Based on body mapping expertise, studies were conducted on the aerodynamic performance of the design to find the best materials and ideal locations for efficient placement of inserts and seams.

The result is a jersey where the material does not wrinkle at the neck, which can cause irritation and resistance. To avoid this, the sleeves were made from a lightly ribbed fabric that doesn't fully converge at the neck. Instead, the back panel of honeycomb mesh starts at the neck, runs across the shoulders and down to the top pockets. This design takes advantage of the materials' properties to create a harmonious, efficient fit. The front panel is made of a micro-perforated material that is very light and breathable. This extremely lightweight jersey weighs only 112 grams and offers a level of breathability that will keep you comfortable on hot summer rides.
