Our Alpine models are designed specifically for the mountains, whether high up in the Alps, or deep in the Himalayas, whether on foot, or in the bike saddle. The Alpine 800, with its good warmth-to-weight ratio and low bulk design, is perfect for high altitude mountain touring in winter. It has a 650 cuin 800 g duck down fill and a wind-resistant Pertex® Quantum shell with recycled nylon lining.

The cleverly designed Alpine down sleeping bag impresses with maximum thermal performance. The trapezoidal boxwall chamber construction means that the down can puff out completely. This means that cold bridges have virtually no chance, and warmth is maximized. The herringbone pattern chamber construction improves the stability of the down and evenly wraps the entire body in it. The Alpine sleeping bag's openings are also designed to allow as little body heat as possible to escape; the cozy 3D down collar can be cinched closed to trap heat. A down-filled wind flap along the length of the zipper prevents body heat from escaping. The Alpine, with its narrow mummy shape and angled foot area, is not unnecessarily bulky or heavy, and provides a comfortable night's rest.

All our down sleeping bags are filled by hand in the UK; the down is generally not compressed before use, so its bulking power and warmth of the down is maintained.
