Rab Mythic Ultra Women's Down Jacket - orion blue

The goal was to create a down jacket for the mountains with best warmth-to-weight ratio yet. Rab set to work combining advanced, heat-retaining TILT technology with the lightest, strongest fabrics we could find and the unbeatable warmth-to-weight ratio of goose down. They also maximized performance with different chambers. Lightweight, quilted chambers on the arms and hood provide better freedom of movement, and boxwall chambers on the torso allow the down to fully puff out and trap as much warmth as possible. The chambers are staggered, which distributes the down evenly along the torso, preventing cold spots.

After intensive research and development, Rab found that positioning the TILT layer as close to the body as possible maximizes heat retention. This heat-reflective layer gives the Mythic Ultra jacket a noticeably better thermal efficiency, welcome warmth when ice climbing and on frosty peaks. To keep weight to a minimum, Rab used a 100% recycled ultralight 10D outer fabric. This Pertex® Quantum material with integrated ripstop is tough, durable, weatherproof and soft to the touch.

Designed for alpinists and mountaineers, the jacket has a helmet-compatible hood, a two-way front zipper for use with a harness, and convenient pre-shaped sleeves for climbing. All zippers, adjusters and the stow bag feature light weight and low bulk.
