Rab Khroma Latok GTX Jacket - orion blue

Designed for ski touring, the Khroma Latok GTX jacket is made of two weights of GORE-TEX Pro extra breathable to balance protection, weight and breathability. The jacket is more robust on the shoulders and outside of the sleeves to withstand all abrasions on rocks and ice, as well as abrasion from ropes or the straps of a fully packed backpack. The lighter material on the torso provides greater freedom of movement, breathability, and reduced weight and bulk when your shell needs to be stowed in a pack. From ascents while touring to conquering steep steps to windy ridges, the jacket breathes and protects, easily repels wind, snow and spray, and effectively wicks moisture through your layering system.

But reaching the summit is only half the experience. For the descent, we designed this jacket to be a little longer to keep the fresh powder where it belongs, in the backcountry. Pockets are easily accessible, even under a pack, and the two-position adjustable hood is ski helmet compatible for the wildest winter days. A stiff peak protects against harsh weather, and since you can easily turn your head, your vision isn't restricted. Powder is kept out thanks to soft, stretchy inner gaiters and a stretchy Matrix™ skirt that stay put when not in use. The Khroma Latok GTX jacket is made from 100% recycled face fabric and is stylishly and comfortably cut - so you can get the most out of the climb and the descent.
