In the two-weight version, the material is more durable on the shoulders and sleeves to provide better protection against rubbing from backpack straps. The lighter material on the torso provides more freedom of movement, breathability, and reduced weight and bulk when your waterproof jacket needs to be stowed in a backpack.

The Latok Mountain GTX has a stowable hood so it doesn't get caught in the wind when you're not using it. The two-way adjustment can be quickly pulled closed with one hand when you're on difficult terrain, and the protective stiff peak keeps the rain off your face. It's designed to follow your every head movement and not block your view when you need it most.

This jacket easily repels wind, rain, sleet and snow, and is breathable and wicks away moisture through your layering system to keep you comfortable when your route gets steep or difficult. Heat escapes quickly through underarm vents, with two-way zippers to fine-tune airflow. You can stash your map, compass and other essentials in the three deep zippered pockets.
