Super Deluxe Ultimate. What else to say?
If you're pinned to win, the RockShox Super Deluxe Ultimate is the shock of choice for the podium. This is the most advanced shock RockShox ever made, packed to the hilt with more options for fine-tuning adjustments that meaningfully improve suspension performance. Debuting the next revolution in damper technology, the RC2T damper is only found at the Ultimate level and features externally adjustable, truly independent High and Low Speed Compression along with an increased range of rebound adjust. Riders can fine-tune damping from the factory base tune for a more personalized feel while factoring in ride style and terrain. Super Deluxe Ultimate sets the new benchmark.
Features of the RockShox Super Deluxe Ultimate RC2T Rear Shock
- RC2T shock with externally adjustable, independent high- and low-speed compression damping and easy-access lockout lever
- DebonAir+ Suspension with dual air chamber options allows you to adjust negative and positive air volume and provides the ride feel of a steel spring
- HotDog Piston delivers the same low-speed compression control that the Super Deluxe is known for, but with slightly less High-Speed compression, allowing the wheels to swerve in rough terrain while providing more grip at high speeds.
- The encapsulated Bottom-Out-Bumper reduces harsh bottom-outs and allows the air spring to be adjusted for maximum grip, comfort and control.
- With 15 clicks - Wider rebound adjustment range.
- Greater bushing overlap improves small shock performance
- Maxima Plush Damping fluid reduces friction, lasts longer and improves suspension performance on every ride.
- Lockout force: 320, Trunnion/Standard - C1
Debon Air+ air suspension
It's okay to ride a soft suspension. Still, Debon Air+ shocks barely give even when pedaling lightly. This technology makes the current Rockshox shocks plushier than ever before. This appears at first glance as a weakness, but on the trail you will feel the benefits. The DebonAir+ damper flattens all bumps, providing a seamless connection between the wheel and the ground.
- Linear Spring Characteristics. Less effort required to get the shock moving on the first 1/3 of travel.
- More grip and control. No hard initial bumps and better traction. The rear wheel is always in contact with the ground and the rear end responds to fine impacts.
