Support rings for Rohloff Speedhub 500/14 hubs. For mounting on the spoke flange before the rear wheel is laced or after rim change/ re-lacing of the case. The rings prevent the avulsion of the spoke by a possible flange break. Especially for extreme use in tandem, touring bike, e-bike, cargo and riders over 100kg.
In the current series, the hub flanges of the Speedhub were changed, so there are two different versions. As distinctive features which flange rings must be used, is the inscription 'Made in Germany' on the case of the Speedhub.
'Made in Germany' - lettering underlined = Art.Nr. 8524 = 1 x ring small, 1 x ring large (with groove for the cap side)
'Made in Germany' - lettering not underlined = Art.Nr. 8523 = 2 x ring small
Red powdered hubs are not compatible with the support ring!
