Rohloff Speedhub can be used on frames with IS2000 standard brake disc mounts. With the OEM2 axle plate the torque can directly be supported by the frame. The long torque arm will no longer be necessary.
If a disc brake is mounted the Rohloff Speedbone is needed in addition to the CC OEM2 axle plate.
Note: If permission has not been granted by the frame manufacturer to mount the Rohloff Speedbone (not included in delivery) and the OEM2 axle plate or the support bolt through the disc brake mount, then mounting of the OEM2 axle plate is at your own risk.
There are different types:
CC: hollow axle for use with a quick release lever (quick release axle).
TS (Threaded Spindl): threaded axle with axle nuts M10x1.
TS long threaded axle with axle nuts M10x1.
A12 (142/177mm): Thru axle frames 12mm
CC (190 mm): XXL hollow axle for use with a quick release lever (quick release axle). (No Upgrade from 170 to 190 mm!)
A12 (197mm): Thru axle frames 12mm (No Upgrade from 177 to 197 mm!)
Mounting Notes:
Installation without Discbrake also requires the Rohloff frame bolt for OEM2 axle plate.
To use the OEM2 axle plate with Postmount disc brake the Rohloff Monkey Bone Disc Adapter is recommend.
To use the OEM2 axle plate with IS disc brake the Rohloff Speedbone torque arm is recommend.
