Improve the installation of a Rohloff SPEEDHUB when using the OEM2 axle plate and disc brakes. The Monkey Bone is a brake mount for post-mount style brakes, replacing the Rohloff SPEEDBONE and stock brake bracket. The Monkey Bone has a special slot cut around the rearward bolt hole, allowing it to interface directly with the OEM2 axle plate. This solution simplifies the hardware required to use the Rohloff SPEEDHUB with a disc-brake setup.
The Monkey Bone is not compatible with IS brake caliper or with frames with integrated/direct postmount.
Attention: If permission has not been granted by the frame manufacturer to mount the Rohloff Speedbone, Monkey Bone or the support bolt through the disc brake mount, then mounting of the OEM2 (not included in delivery) versions is at your own risk.
