Massive ventilation
Ventilation makes the Nytron bike helmet a game changer in the aero road helmet category. Many scientific studies show that head cooling enhances performance by significantly reducing the negative effects of rising core body temperature. For this reason, the Nytron helmet was designed to combine the ultimate in aerodynamic performance with the best possible ventilation. Intensive wind tunnel testing has proven that Nytron's fifteen scientifically configured vents and internal directional airflow channels provide unparalleled ventilation regardless of rider position.

WG11 Rotaional
The Rudy Project WG11 Rotational Impact Test is a protocol adopted by Rudy Project in collaboration with accredited and notified bodies to test and measure the performance of helmets against rotational impact. The Rudy Project WG11 pass/fail criterion is based on the BRIC (Brain Injury Criterion) value, an algorithm that defines the degree of brain injury. This score must be less than 0.68. Several studies have shown that BRIC values for concussions in humans vary from 0.60 when derived directly from animal data to 0.68 when derived directly from college football players.

Triple in Mold Construction
In-mold technology allows the outer polycarbonate shell to be molded directly with expandable polystyrene (EPS) during the injection phase of the shock-absorbing foam. The result is a much stiffer structure that is impact resistant, extremely lightweight and allows for a better ventilation system. The combined action of the EPS structure, the polycarbonate cap and the exoskeleton creates resistance to the mechanical action exerted by an impact and distributes the energy to prevent it from being transferred to the head of the person wearing the helmet.
