Salewa Wildfire 2 Approach Shoes - black/black 971

The Wildfire 2 has a durable and breathable recycled plastic upper with PFC-free mesh lining. A reinforced TPU fore-edge provides additional protection from scree and debris in the front of the shoe. The POMOCA® outsole is designed for precision and sensitivity in varied mountain terrain. The butylic rubber compound provides good grip on rocks in both dry and wet conditions. In addition, the Switchfit adjustment system allows you to quickly switch from hiking to climbing mode: thanks to the additional eyelet, you can move safely on smaller ledges and edges. The Wildfire 2 has a cushioning EVA midsole and offers an enveloping fit. It is equipped with a Climbing Lacing climbing lacing system that allows for fine toe adjustment and better overall technical performance. The lateral mesh system made of Kevlar® cables further improves the performance and sensitivity of the shoe.
